The Meaning of "Sela" (סֶלַע)
The heart of our brand lies in our name. In Hebrew, the word "Sela" (סֶלַע) translates to "Rock," "Crag," or "Cliff."
Throughout the Psalms, this word is used to describe God as a fortress and a place of safety. As it says in Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock (Sela), my fortress and my deliverer."
When you wear Sela Merch, you are reminding yourself and the world that your foundation is unshakeable because it is built on the Rock of Ages.

SELA Merch wasn’t born in a boardroom; it was born in the heart of the storm. I was raised in a Christian household, but like many, I discovered that knowing about God and truly finding Him are two very different things. My faith wasn't found in the comfort of childhood—it was forged as an adult through the personal trials that tested my very foundations.

The name Sela carries a profound weight. It means a rock, a fortress, a foundation. In the midst of the darkness and chaos that often come with navigating life's storms, I found my only true refuge and unshakeable foundation in the Lord. This brand is a testament to that safe harbor.
